Terms of Service

Vertex Utility Group Ltd ("Vertex", "we", "us") operates an energy comparison and switching service. We are a broker, not an energy supplier — we don't supply gas or electricity ourselves.

There is no charge to you for using our comparison or switching service. We're paid a commission by the supplier you switch to, not by you.

Prices and quotes shown are indicative, based on the information you provide, and may change following a survey, credit check, or verification by the supplier. We compare a panel of suppliers, not every deal on the whole market.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, including your address, meter details and payment information. Incorrect information may delay or affect your switch.

If you switch supplier through us, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day your contract with the new supplier is confirmed, during which you can cancel free of charge. Contact us or your new supplier directly to cancel within this period.

We take reasonable care in providing our comparison and switching service, but we're not liable for the acts or service of the suppliers we compare or switch you to — your contract for energy supply is with them, not with us.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date at the top.
